The Department of Defense has identified 3,676 American service members who have died since the start of the Iraq war. It confirmed the deaths of the following Americans over the past week:

ARMAND, Reynold, 21, Cpl., Marines; Rochester; Second Marine Division.

DURAN, Joan J., 24, Staff Sgt., Army; Roxbury, Mass.; 82nd Airborne Division.

EDWARDS, William L., 23, Pfc., Army; Houston; Third Infantry Division.
